Description and criteria:

Each year, the editor-in-chief and the editorial board of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine select the 6 best spontaneously submitted papers published during the previous year.
The criteria used to select include: originality and importance of the subject matter, scientific content, and quality of writing.
The JNM Editors’ Choice Awards are presented during the SNMMI Annual Meeting.
A travel award accompanies the top 6 best papers published in JNM.
The award recipient is the first author and a young investigator.
