Committee Charges
- Identify the major third party players e.g. the RBM or the insurance company
- Create an inventory of evidence-based guidelines
- Create a toolkit on oncologic F-18 FDG PET to be shared with third party payers which will include:
- Data on appropriate use
- Prior CMS decisions
- NCCN guidelines and other literature that supports additional uses outside of these
guidelines
- Economic impact and cost-effectiveness data
- Findings of NOPR
- Identify other specialty organization partners
