  • The Nominating Committee shall choose the nominees, forwarding those names to the membership or NCOR as stated in the Bylaws at least 60 days prior to the Annual Meeting of the Society.
  • The Nominating Committee shall prepare and submit a ballot as required by Bylaws.
  • Chapter delegates to the NCOR shall recommend in writing to the Chair of the Nominating Committee names for nomination to elective offices 120 days prior to the Mid-Winter Meeting of the society.
  • The committee will include in its consideration for nomination additional members of the section whose names are recommended in a petition signed by at least 10 members of the Section and submitted 120 days prior to the MWM to the Chair of the Nominating Committee. No additional nominations will be accepted once the Nominating Committee has selected the list of candidates for each office.
  • The Chair will notify the elected candidates first of the results and then will notify not elected to the various positions.
  • The committee is in charge of the Nomination and Election process as detailed in the Bylaws Under Article VII.
  • The committee will act in accordance with the duties set forth in Article IX of the TS Bylaws and the guidelines and work plan developed by the committee, which is attached.
  • Work with the current NCOR specialty area representatives, Executive Board, NCOR, and Bylaws committee to suspend the current bylaws and stagger the specialty area representatives terms.
