2024 SNMMI CIC Imaging Case Competition

The SNMMI Correlative Imaging Council will be hosting its first annual Correlative Imaging Case Competition at this year’s SNMMI Annual Meeting, which takes place June 8-11 in Toronto, Canada. The top 3 winning cases
- will be showcased at the 2024 SNMMI Annual Meeting
- will be awarded a cash prize: $500 for top case and $250 for two (2) runner-up cases.
Case Submission Guidelines
Case Criteria:
- Case competition submissions should include nuclear medicine studies that highlight the role of multiple imaging modalities.
- Types of cases to consider submitting range from classic cases, unusual/uncommon cases, interesting artifacts or medication-effects, etc.
- There is no limit to the number of cases you can submit. You MUST be a SNMMI member to submit cases.
PowerPoint Guide/Outline:
- Slide 1: Name, Institution, title of case
- Slide 2 -3 : Patient History – Patient age, medical history, presenting symptoms, etc., and images.
- Patient identifiers MUST NOT be included on your images or in your case information. Including personal health information identifiers will result in immediate disqualification.
- Images should be added to your PowerPoint in either JPEG or TIFF format. Cine video clips could be included as needed.
- Please include an appropriate caption for each image, including:
- The type of study, radiotracer used
- Label and describe the relevant findings
- Slide 4: Brief discussion of the case

Deadline
Cases are due by May 1, 2024.
