Centers of Excellence
SNMMI Centers of Excellence provide professional networking and educational programs for nuclear medicine professionals in respective areas. Centers promote and facilitate best practices, research, clinical implementation, collaboration with other medical associations and professionals, and outreach to patients and referring physicians. Center members drive these activities, helping to shape the future direction of nuclear medicine.
Therapy Center of Excellence
The Therapy Center of Excellence is dedicated to all aspects of the development and utilization of Targeted Radioisotope Therapy (TRT) as an alternative to other treatments. The Therapy Center is creating a multidisciplinary interest group whereby industry, big pharma, physicians, scientists, government and regulatory agencies, as well as other stakeholders, can convene to share ideas, develop education offerings and advance the utilization of radionuclide therapy.

Center for Molecular Imaging Innovation and Translation
The Center for Molecular Imaging Innovation and Translation (CMIIT) is dedicated to all aspects of molecular imaging in the detection and management of disease. CMIIT develops educational programs, provides opportunities for professional and intersociety networking, and facilitates initiatives to bring molecular imaging discoveries from the lab to the patient, advancing “personalized” medicine.

PET Center of Excellence
The PET Center of Excellence is dedicated to all aspects of the development and utilization of Positron Emission Tomography (PET), PET/CT and PET/MR in the detection and management of disease. The PET Center develops educational programs and resources to advance the utilization of PET and PET modalities, including clinical practice, procedure guidelines and reimbursement. The Center also provides opportunities for professional and intersociety networking.
