Robert Wah, MD, THE PRESIDENT OF THE AMA, will speak both days about such compelling and current topics as The Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Medicare SGR repeal, Meaningful Use, PQRS, and other efforts and concerns affecting all of us in healthcare. Other lectur topics include the current uses of hybrid PET/MR imaging and its potential applications, tips and techniques useful in diagnostic body CT imaging, novel nuclear approaches to functional coronary vascular and cardiac imaging and its utility for device-based therapy guidance, directed nuclear therapies for the treatment of metastatic liver disease and skeletal disease, non-dementia brain imaging, and radiation dose reduction. The latest updates about the activities of the national SNMMI will be presented by the SNMMI Immediate Past President, Dr. Dillehay.
