Join Paul Christian, BS, CNMT, PET, for an informative webinar to help nuclear medicine technologists and PET imaging personnel discover why artifacts appear and how to minimize their occurrence.
PET imaging is often an endpoint for therapeutic drug efficacy in a trial, so image quality must be high and standardized across all sites. Sometimes when PET imaging is done, whether in clinical practice or for research, artifacts may appear in the scan without staff knowing what they are and how they got there. As imaging sites improve their techniques, so will the quality of their scans.
