An NMT may perform non-diagnostic CT without any additional certification.  However, NMT's are NOT allowed to perform diagnostic CT studies without CT certification.  I called the MRTBE for clarification of this.  Previously, if the NMT was also X-ray certified, the technologist did not require CT certification, HOWEVER, in 2015, the MRTBE began requiring X-ray techs to also be CT certified.

Can a nuclear medicine technologist do:

Hybrid imaging using CT for attenuation and localization? - Yes

Need to be certified in CT to do AT/localization? - No.  They do not require CT licensure for non-diagnostic CT for localization/attenuation correction.

Diagnostic CT on hybrid, on a standalone or either? - NMT's require CT licensure to perform diagnostic CT  on a hybrid or standalone.

What CT certification does the state recognize (ARRT and/or NMTCB) -   ARRT and/or NMTCB

Mix isotopes with commercial kits to prepare radiopharmaceuticals? - Yes
