This award is designed to recognize and support the attendance of students, postdoctoral scholars, trainees and early career junior faculty in the field of brain molecular imaging, who are members of the SNMMI and will present abstracts in person at the SNMMI Annual Meeting..
Only abstracts submitted to categories within the Neurosciences Track, and whose authors are BIC members, will be considered for the Brain Imaging Council Travel Award.
A $1,000 monetary prizes are offered for the above award.
This award is not for nuclear medicine technologists and nuclear medicine technology students.
A limited number of $1,000 awardees will be selected. Selection of recipients will be based upon several criteria:
- the abstract ranking by the judges
- the number of oral and/or poster presentations for which the applicant is the designated presenter
- the number of oral and/or poster presentations for which the applicant is the first author
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be students, postdoctoral scholars, trainees or early career junior faculty (up to and including the level of assistant professor or equivalent for less than 5 years) in the field of brain molecular imaging.
