GNYC-TS Annual Spring Symposium. CEU's for Nuclear Medicine Technologists on both days.
This three day course will emphasize modern PET/CT Imaging and Molecular Imaging and Therapy (MIT) with targeted imaging and therapy radiotracers. This will include 12 hours of lecture from MIT leaders around the world and 12 hours of dedicated computer workstation time for attendees to personally review over 500 PET/CT studies. This course is designed for radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, and others ordering or interpreting oncologic PET/CT studies.
Molecular Imaging of Inflammation and Infection The MEDAMI workshops are unique in that they address a medical imaging topic from the medical, clinical, and instrumentation perspectives. We invite experts from different backgrounds relevant to the selected subject disciplines, including biology, nuclear medicine, radiochemistry, physics, and engineering to foster multidisciplinary interactions leading to novel, cutting-edge applications using the latest technological developments.
Celebrated during the first full week of October, Nuclear Medicine Week encourages community members to take pride in their profession – recognizing their colleagues for their hard work and promoting nuclear medicine to the entire medical community as well as to the public.
This year's conference is set under the thought-provoking theme, "Nuclear Medicine in Pakistan - Generation Next". Our theme underscores our dedication to bolstering educational initiatives, fostering innovation, and nurturing a community centered on enhancing patient care. This conference will provide an in-depth exploration into new trends in Nuclear Oncology, Nuclear Cardiology, Theranostics, AI, Hybrid Imaging, and the emerging trends in Nuclear Medicine. We anticipate a robust participation from nuclear physicians, radiopharmacists, technologists, oncologists, surgeons, and medical physicists from all over the country. In addition to our national participants, we look forward to hosting esteemed leaders and experts from around the world, who will be sharing their invaluable knowledge and insights. Delegates from various international organizations will also be joining us, bringing valuable global perspectives to our discussions.
This workshop will focus on both the technical aspects of PET/MRI as well as the clinical utility of PET/MRI. We will have sessions on technical developments such as novel MR attenuation correction techniques and approaches to motion correction. We will also have focused sessions based on body parts for clinical and research applications (neuro, GU/gyn, cardiac, etc). Other sessions will highlight radiotracers to demonstrate how non-FDG tracers can be leveraged in novel ways using PET/MRI. We will also highlight AI's increasingly important role in improving PET acquisition and reconstruction (including ultra-low dose) and diagnosis (post-processing segmentation and diagnosis). We will include sessions on how to help develop multi-center trials and to facilitate this we will have breakout sessions based on disease type for participants to work in small groups to discuss the need and possibly design multi-center trials.
