The past two years have been challenging due to the pandemic, for health care and medical professionals. We are still not completely out of it and are adjusting to the improving situation with the new normal. Despite the challenges due to the pandemic difficulties, molecular imaging and nuclear medicine have been making steady progress. Several new and exciting developments are seen in technology, clinical applications, and radiotracer therapies. The Arabian Gulf region has seen new emerging diagnostic and therapy centers.
