Sentinel Node Biopsy is an established method for identifying occult cervical micro-metastasis. It has been adopted nationally in Denmark and Holland for the management of patients with oral cancer and has been recommended by NICE in the UK. The Eight SNB Symposium is a consensus conference intended to shape the application of SNB in the management of patients with oral cancer. A core group of Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Surgeons and Pathologists have honed a series of topics for discussion at the conference.
