  7. Does your state regulate if a nuclear medicine technologist can administer adjunctive medications? The administration of adjunct medications is not controlled by the state in Texas.  It seems to vary from facility to facility.

  9. How frequently do you have to renew your nuclear medicine technologist license in your state? Every 24 months 
  10. What is the name of the license for CT attenuation correction? We only have one license for radiologist tech and nuc med tech for the state of TX, which is through Texas Medical Board License. To apply for this license you have to be ARRT or NMTCB certified.
  11. How many CE units are required? 24 credit hours in 24 months
