Objectives Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: 1. Describe when a PET/CT scan is indicated for diagnosing or staging a particular tumor type. 2. Identify anatomy using PET/CT imaging and determine abnormalities based on the PET/CT images. 3. Submit a PET/CT conclusion based on the reason for referral. 4. Identify incidental abnormal findings on a transmission CT scan. 5. Make a diagnosis based on comparison to previous (CT, PET, PET/CT) studies. 6. Draft an expert clinical report using the SNM PET/CT guidelines. 7. Interpret PET/CT images and answer clinically relevant questions based on the images.
Target Audience The LLSAP is designed for all nuclear medicine specialists and other physicians, pharmacists and technologists who practice diagnostic and/or therapeutic nuclear medicine.
