Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: 

1. Apply risk-stratification criteria for determining the postoperative management of thyroid cancer patients.
2. Identify patterns of regional and distant metastases on radioiodine imaging studies and the prognostic significance of the findings. 
3. Integrate information obtained from preablation radioiodine scintigraphy in the risk stratification and postoperative staging of thyroid cancer patients.

 


Target Audience

The LLSAP is designed for all nuclear medicine specialists and other physicians, pharmacists and technologists who practice diagnostic and/or therapeutic nuclear medicine.
