Dear Members and Attendees,
While the initial roll-out of the COVID vaccine is a positive first step, we all know that there is still a long road ahead before this pandemic is fully behind us.
As the highest priority is the health and safety of everyone involved in our meeting, the decision has been made to transition the SNMMI 2021 Annual Meeting to a fully virtual event.
Like you, we were hopeful to return to an in-person meeting and are disappointed that we won’t be able to be together in Washington, DC.
However, given SNMMI’s highly successful rollout of the 2020 Virtual Edition of our Annual Meeting, as well as subsequent virtual events, we are confident we can build on those successes and provide you with a dynamic virtual experience at the 2021 Annual Meeting this June 12-15.
Over the coming weeks, look for additional details on everything you’ve come to expect from the SNMMI Annual Meeting—cutting-edge educational programming, the latest scientific research, interactive exhibit hall, lively networking events, and more!
We look forward to seeing each of you virtually this June!
Warm regards,
Alan Packard, PhD
SNMMI President

All in-person events sponsored by the society, including the SNMMI Board of Directors meeting, are now held virtually. With our extensive experience in hosting webinars and online meetings, we are confident that these virtual functions will prove both effective and engaging, furthering our goal of improving human health through nuclear medicine, molecular imaging and radionuclide therapy.
We have taken appropriate precautions to keep our leadership and staff safe. We have cancelled all non-essential travel and limited in-person meetings. Staff are working remotely, and the society remains 100% operational and ready to serve you. This means you can still access any and all online services and call or email with membership and customer service related inquiries.
