Explore the Latest Innovations in Therapy
This two-and-a-half-day conference explores the latest innovations in therapy, including acquiring the knowledge and resources to effectively deliver theranostics agents and the fundamental steps necessary to establish a nuclear medicine therapy program at your institution.
This co-provided workshop, presented by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging's (SNMMI) PET Center of Excellence and International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), will focus on both the technical aspects of PET/MRI as well as the clinical utility of PET/MRI. The workshop will feature a mixture of invited scientific presentations, proffered papers, a poster session, small group discussion, and a keynote lecture. A young investigator award will be presented to students and early stage post-doctoral or physicians that will be selected from the oral paper presentations.
Learn in an intimate setting. Walk away with valuable clinical skills.
The 2020 SNMMI Mid-Winter and ACNM Annual Meeting's intimate format provides an ideal setting to actively collaborate with luminaries in the field, further develop relevant skills, and deliver techniques you can implement immediately when you return to work. This year's meeting will feature three educational tracks open to all attendees, including a dedicated track on Neurology.
Procedure standards help identify elements of the procedure that are most important in obtaining a high-quality examination, while simultaneously controlling costs. Use of standardized procedures will increase the applicability of clinical research among multiple institutions, in turn, increasing the value of research studies, particularly in the field of technology assessment. SNMMI offers procedure standards in the following areas:

SNMMI offers a number of free resources on the Imaging Dementia — Evidence for Amyloid Scanning (IDEAS) Study, including free on-demand webinars:
Participating physicians may enroll eligible patients using the same portal. Background on the study, requirements for participation and a set of frequently asked questions are available on the IDEAS website.
Maintenance of Certification (MOC) is a comprehensive programs to assess the ongoing competence of physician specialists and their ability to provide quality health care in six general competencies:
• Medical knowledge
• Patient care
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Practice-based learning and improvements
• System-based practice
In the past, the certification process required successful completion of an approved educational program, an unrestricted medical license as evidence of professional standing, and passing the certification examination. Now nuclear medicine professionals can no longer simply take an exam to renew a certificate; lifelong learning must be documented.
The American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) MOC program is a process designed to document that nuclear medicine physicians maintain the necessary competencies to provide quality patient care in nuclear medicine. It is now an ongoing process and will require the assessment and improvement of practice performance by nuclear medicine physicians, as well as other physician specialists who wish to be certified, and/or maintain their certification, in nuclear medicine.
Complimentary Journal SAM access is now available exclusively for SNMMI Members. Take advantage of this great new benefit and meet your Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part II Self Assessment program requirements.
SNMMI educational programs are designed to meet the professional development needs of physicians, as well as providing opportunities to satisfy continuing medical education (CME) requirements, including Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements.
