SNMMI offers a wide range of scholarships, grants and awards, with many supported by the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (ERF), SNMMI-TS's Professional Development and Education Fund (PDEF), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), and Nihon Medi-Physics. They represent the society's commitment to advancing molecular imaging and therapy by supporting the next generation of researchers and recognizing excellence in the field.

Below are a few of the upcoming deadlines:
2018 Marc Tetalman Memorial Award (ERF) – Application Deadline: March 21, 2018
This award honors the research accomplishments of a young investigator who is pursuing a career in nuclear medicine (35 or younger and no more than 7 years post PhD-completion or certification in nuclear medicine/nuclear radiology)
2018 SNMMI-TS Career Advancement Grant (sponsored by each SNMMI-TS chapter) – Application Deadline: March 30, 2018
This grant supports nuclear medicine technologists (members of SNMMI-TS) pursuing additional educational opportunities to advance their professional career.
Award: $500 grants for up to 13 people (Looking for applications from every SNMMI-TS chapter!)
2018 ERF SNMMI-TS Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Completion Scholarship – Application Deadline: March 30, 2018
The SNMMI-TS Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Completion Scholarship is for current nuclear medicine student technologists in a B.S. or M.S. nuclear medicine technology training program, or nuclear medicine technologists who are pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree related to their nuclear medicine careers.
Applicants must be SNMMI-TS members, be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s level or entry-level master's degree program in nuclear medicine technology, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 grading scale.
Award: $4,000 scholarships for up to 2 people
2018 ERF SNMMI-TS Advanced Degree Program Award – Application Deadline: March 30, 2018
The ERF SNMMI-TS Advanced Degree Award supports a student who is pursuing an advanced program to further his/her career in nuclear medicine. This award is available for all advanced degree programs.
Applicants must be active members of SNMMI-TS and be currently accepted into an advanced degree program.
Award: $5,000 for 1 person
