Josh Mailman Receives 2015 Warner Advocacy Award

November 10, 2015

Novartis Oncology Patient Advocacy and The NET Alliance™, a Novartis Oncology initiative, have announced that Josh Mailman is the recipient of the 2015 Warner Advocacy Award.

The Warner Advocacy Award was established by Novartis Oncology, through Patient Advocacy and The NET Alliance, to recognize and honor a neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patient advocate who most embodies the passion, dedication, leadership, and spirit of the late Monica Warner. Mrs. Warner was the major driving force behind the spread of advocacy and support groups for NET patients and caregivers across the United States.

Mailman has been a NET patient advocate for more than eight years. Using his vast knowledge of NET, along with his technical skills, he has touched the lives of thousands of NET patients and caregivers. His loyalty and commitment to the NET community is extensive, illustrated by the many roles he plays, including serving as president of the Northern California (NorCal) CarciNET Community.
