SNMMI Image of the Year Wins Minnie Award for Best Radiology Image

SNMMI's 2015 Image of the Year has won the 2015 Minnie award for Best Radiology Image from The Minnie awards are an annual event recognizing excellence in medical imaging.

The image chosen is a PET image showing a prostate cancer patient’s successful response to PSMA-617 endoradiotherapy, which not only detects prostate cancer that has spread throughout the body, but also provides a potent and minimally invasive method of radiotherapy.
