Event Details:

Hybrid PET-imaging is now recognised as an indispensible tool in multiple facets of Oncology management, with clinical indications extending to Dementia, Cardiology and Infection. Hybrid imaging enables combined anatomical and functional information, and with the development of targeted molecular imaging probes, it has a key role in advancing personalised medicine and optimised patient care. This symposium and hands-on workshop jointly organised by the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, The University of Hong Kong and Department of Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, University Hospital Zurich aims to provide reporting radiologists and nuclear physicians a comprehensive update of the applications of PET/CT in clinical practice, and the emerging applications of PET/MR. A series of didactic lectures will be followed by illustrative hands-on workshop that will be held in two parallel tracks; a basic track that covers general PET/CT cases encountered in clinical practice, and an advanced track that includes the use of special tracers and PET/MR. We warmly welcome participants from Hong Kong, the region and beyond, and look forward to an interactive, stimulating and fruitful program.
