The study day, supported by Siemens, will provide an introduction and overview to this exciting new technology focusing on the potential clinical and research applications of PET/MRI. Topics to be covered include: PET/MRI Physics Tracers for PET/MRI Advanced Imaging Techniques PET/MRI Applications in Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Dementia & Fibrotic Disease PET/MRI vs. PET/CT – Case Studies & Ongoing Projects Future Developments in PET/MRI This course is suitable for Radiologists, Physicists, MR and MI Radiographers. The workstation day will provide a hands-on PET/MRI workshop in which each delegate will review PET/MRI cases on their own workstation. Cases will cover recognition of common artefacts and pitfalls, and whole body, system and organ based case tumour staging using PET/MRI.
