Event Details:

You are invited to attend the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Western Region Society of Nuclear Medicine, October 22‐25, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful and historic Monterey, CA. This meeting is always well received by the attendees and is a highlight of the SNM calendar for the Western States. Program Chairs, Erik Mittra, MD, PhD, and Andrew Quon, MD both from Stanford University and their committee of physicians and technologists from Vancouver to San Diego, have organized a particularly thoughtful program with many interesting and timely topics. Lectures qualify for CEU’s and our target audience includes physicians, physicists, technologists and pharmacists. There are several highlights to this year's program including quality talks on targeted radionuclide therapies and theranostics which is an exciting topic within our field. Another highlight is a session on Saturday morning on neuroimaging given by several notable experts in the field. Also on Saturday is a extensive session on leadership updates addressing many of the most pressing concerns within our discipline. Of course, PET/MR is taking a center stage and several lectures will cover this emerging modality. There will also be several case review sessions on MR, as well as the ever popular Cases for Connoisseurs. As you can see, we have many quality CE programs offered again this year and we are once again applying for SAM credits for our physicians and physicists. It is further incentive for physicians planning to recertify to attend the meeting as it is one of the mandatory requirements. Please note, abstracts submitted by residents, basic scientists trainees, technologists and technologist students will be presented again this year, as well as several award recipients. This will spark thought, creative enterprise, and encourage scholarly activity by our trainees.
