IAEA & SNMMI Complimentary CT Webinar Series - English

November 12, 2014
Event Details:

All webinars begin at 11:00am ET.

This webinar series is designed to increase the professional's knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and common pathology to improve interpretive skills when CT is performed in conjunction with PET or SPECT. Normal anatomy and common pathological findings will be reviewed in a live, interactive case-based format that simulates clinical practice. Participants will be able to use a computer workstation, notebook, tablet, or smart phone to review cases with an expert, although a larger viewing monitor is recommended. Participants will be asked one question after each case presentation using an audience response system that allows participants to evaluate their knowledge and diagnostic skills compared to their peers.

CT cases of one anatomic region (head and neck, thorax, or abdomen and pelvis) will be reviewed during each 1-hour webinar. There will be an additional 15 minutes for participants to ask questions. Each webinar will be presented twice, once in Spanish and once again in English after one or two weeks. A new series of cases will be presented in both languages each following month.

Learning Objectives:

-  Understand normal cross sectional anatomy and common variants
-  Recognize common pathological findings
-  Increase interpretative skill when reading CT performed in conjunction with PET and SPECT
