Nuclear Medicine is an ever evolving discipline which continues to be part of new developments in both diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare. Radiation protection is an integral part of successfully implementing new procedures and practices. Following on from a successful meeting in 2017, the aim of this event is to continue to share radiation protection best practices in response to new clinical developments as well as in response to recent legislative updates. So whether you would like to hear centres share practical experience of a new installation or service, changes made in response to new legislation, experience of inspections, or research / audits of interest to the community, this meeting will be of interest to you. Learning Outcomes 1. An appreciation of the practical consequences of changes and updates to ionising radiataion legislation. 2. An appreciation of new practices and developments.
