JNMT Twitter Club

November 15, 2018 EST
Event Details:

The next JNMT Twitter Club (@JNMTClub) session is scheduled for Thursday, November 15, at 7:30 pm Eastern.

To participate, read the article before the club meets, then discuss it on Twitter. Be sure to follow the JNMT Twitter Club at @JNMTclub and use #JNMTclub in each response during the session.

The Quality and Practice article selected for discussion is “Molecular Breast Imaging: Administered Activity Does Not Require Adjustment Based on Patient Size." Join this lively discussion and earn 1.0 CE while sharing your opinions on this topic in 280 characters or less! This article is published in the September 2018 issue of JNMT, and it can also be downloaded here.

Each Twitter Journal Club session includes predetermined discussion points to help drive the conversation and assist participants with preparation for a 10-question exam (1 CE hour), which will be posted on SNMMI’s CE Center for one week following the Twitter session. A link to the exam information will be provided during the Twitter session.

So how does it work?

First, you must have a Twitter account and sign in. For those new to Twitter, Mary Beth Farrell, MS, CNMT, NCT, FSNMMI-TS, has made a couple YouTube tutorials to help you get started: Short Twitter Tutorial (5 minutes); Longer Twitter Tutorial (8 minutes).

Then follow @JNMTClub on Twitter. For the discussion, go to @JNMTClub and participate by including #JNMTclub in every tweet you write. The Club provides an opportunity for differing perspectives to be “heard”—in 280 characters or less (but tweet as many times as needed to express your view). Everyone is invited—from students to technologists working in any setting
