EANM: ESMIT Level 3 - Advanced Course on Imaging in Infection and White Blood Cell Labelling

This advanced course is focused on imaging infection with radiolabelled WBC. A special attention is given to the labelling procedure and quality controls for white blood cells (WBC) scintigraphy that is the nuclear medicine gold standard modality when an infection is suspected. In addition to cell labelling method, the facilitators will follow 4 different patients in real time as for their preparation, cell labelling, image acquisition and interpretation protocols as well as in-vivo quality controls. Pitfalls and regulatory aspects will be covered as well in this course.
