SNMMI 2012 Cardiac SPECT Phantom Simulator tests the subscriber’s ability to acquire and process stress and rest myocardial perfusion studies, to identify and quantify areas of perfusion abnormality, and to determine the diagnostic and the prognostic significance of the findings.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Acquire and process stress/rest myocardial perfusion studies
• Identify and quantify areas of perfusion abnormality
• Determine the diagnostic and prognostic significance of the findings
• Perform both visual and semi-quantitative evaluation of the images
The study utilizes a new three-dimensional simulator that has been designed to meet the imaging needs of general and cardiac nuclear imaging departments. The 2012 Cardiac SPECT Phantom Simulator was developed and produced by Medical Designs, Inc. (MDI).
