Dear ACNM Members and Fellows,
We are looking forward to the 2018 ACNM Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, January 25-27. ACNM content will include a half-day of abstracts on Thursday afternoon and two full days on Friday and Saturday.
We have an exciting plenary session on the Business of Imaging. Saturday morning starts with a half-day session on Radiation Safety. We also have a continuation of our flipped learning sessions and the third annual International Session. It looks like it will be a great meeting.
We continue to work towards certification pathways to read cardiovascular computed tomographic angiography (CTA) and MR scans. We are also working on formalized sessions to train nuclear medicine physicians to read CTA and CMR.
ACNM has collaborated with ABNM to produce content for a pilot program that may replace the Maintenance of Certification exam with a new pathway called CertLinkTM. This program is now available for registration. The pilot program will start in January. This will allow diplomates to identify knowledge gaps through monthly or quarterly questions and has the potential to completely revamp how we maintain our board certification. For more information on this topic, please see the CertLink box on this webpage or visit the ABNM website.
I thank you all for the honor for having been your president this past year. I feel privileged to have been a part of all the amazing programs we have had this past year.
Registration Now Open for
ABNM Pilot Program
The deadline to register is January 1, 2018 for diplomates with certificates expiring in 2018-2021. All other diplomates are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
More details about the program can be found on CertLink™ on the ABNM website.
Please contact the ABNM office via email or phone at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314-367-2225 if you have any questions.
The ACNM Fund for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging is made up of gifts from ACNM's loyal members, supporters, and friends. One hundred percent of these contributions benefit ACNM members and Residents, paying for grants, awards, stipends and scholarships to advance their education, training and research objectives. This fund is kept at the Research & Education Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and absolutely separated from ACNM operational funds for the life of the fund.
ACNM Endowed Funds for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
An endowed scholarship or fellowship provides a permanent and personal way for you to make a difference in the life of a budding physician or researcher. Gifts that meet a minimum threshold can be named in honor/memory of the donor or his/her designee. We can help you design an award that serves both the needs of nuclear medicine today and that best represents the legacy you wish to leave on the future of the field. Your gift can help our awardees turn their dreams into reality, now and into the future.
Contact Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at 402.507.5125 to further discuss establishing your fund.
